Heaven is supposed to be wonderful. But is has an image problem: popular ideas of heaven seem just so unattractive and unreal. Most people settle for believing that life now is all there is.
However, the Bible pictures heaven not only in terms of God's throne room today but also as part of the future new creation. This incredible future will not be enjoyed by everyone, so there are huge implications for us today. Life now is so tiny compared to eternity; what then can be more important than the truth about heaven?
