The Ology: Ancient Truths Ever New

Very well written. Chapters are succinct and short yet not watered down and full of truth. Easy to follow and understand for any age and OT themes are linked to fulfilment in the NT. Captures the young mind and engages with very simple and well worded explanations for the doctrines. Plenty of additional scriptures to look up for further study. Well illustrated as well.

While I'm sure this wasn't the intent, I'm reading to someone who has had recent brain surgery and was a child educator. Perfect for refreshing and keeping focus on God while not complicated or challenging for an injured brain to absorb, yet not talking down in children's language. I therefore feel it would equally be good for an aged person who would enjoy being read to, or perhaps a dementia patient. Just an excellent resource - a treasure.

This book is a beautifully illustrated and organised collections of truths. It sequences and words what we understand about the nature of God in simple yet profound language. It enables younger readers to grasp big ideas such as Trinity.
