I love this daily devotional from the pen of James Smith, the predecessor of Charles Spurgeon at the New Park Street Chapel in London. Smith is beautifully clear and simple (much like Ryle and Spurgeon), but he is often more experiential than Ryle and more succinct than Spurgeon.
