Rev. Vander Kam has written several Bible studies for Reformed Fellowship, most of them published in the 1970s and 1980s. Although they were written several decades ago, their content remains relevant for the church of Jesus Christ today. This is especially true of his Bible lessons on 1 Timothy.
This ever popular study focuses on the instruction that an experienced Paul gives to a young, sometimes insecure preacher. The bulk of the lessons deal with the advice that Paul gave concerning the way those within the church should conduct themselves. It also addresses the falling away of the church and how Christians are to remain faithful.
Rev. Vander Kam was deeply involved with the work of Reformed Fellowship for many years. He was also active in the founding of the United Reformed Churches and was one of the founders and first professors of Mid America Reformed Seminary in its original location in Orange City, Iowa.
