This tune book, designed for Psalms & Hymns of Reformed Worship, includes the best-loved compositions of the past, many new tunes, and fresh arrangements of some excellent ‘lost’ tunes.
The chief intention is to present tunes that are both melodic and memorable. The second intention is to match tunes to the mood and sentiments of hymns. The third is to produce a corpus of tunes consistent with intelligent and reverent worship.
Tunes are placed in alphabetical order of name within metrical categories, making this book of special value to users of other hymnbooks. (Music only, without words.)
