Jesus will never ignore or forget about anyone—however small they may be or may feel. Invite children to see that he is the King who cares, as they encounter this beautiful retelling of the Bible story about Jesus, Jairus' daughter and the sick woman who touched the hem of his robe.
Carefully and sensitively crafted, this story by Tiny Theologians creator Amy Gannett reinforces Jesus’ words: “Don’t be afraid. Just believe” (Mark 5:36). As kids watch Jesus interact with a worried father, a sick and outcast woman, and a dying girl, they learn that Jesus…
- Sees and notices people, even those whom others overlook
- Cares for us, even when things are hard or frightening
- Helps us because we are important to him
You'll return to this story again and again to remind kids that they matter to Jesus.
