Anne This is a book I have underlined sentences and paragraphs on almost every page. Now that I have read it, I am reading it again with a note pad and pen, not to pull it apart, but to find all the gems within theses pages to apply to not just reading the Bible but meditating on it. Linda allows us a glimpse into the real life journey of her devotional life that resonates in the reality of mine and I believe many others who battle the noise of a mind that doesn't stop for whatever reason.
This would be a really helpful book to read in a group, like a small group or growth group, and follow through with the suggestions at the end of each chapter. If you are a young Mum looking for a way to not just read the Bible and then run to the next thing, (I remember it well) and could journey through this with someone else, I believe it will be of immense benefit to you. If you are someone like me whose children are now adults, I am looking forward to spending time soaking (like Psalm 1) in God's word with this book as a helpful guide.
