Heaven

Truly, one of the most transformative books I have read in recent years. The author is right - when we consider our eternal lives, when we look back on our mortal lives on earth, they will seem comparatively short - so why don't we spend more time contemplating eternity?! This book answered all of my questions about the big things (where are the saints who have died now and is this different to the New Heaven and New Earth) and the little things (will animals be in Heaven?) and gave me a framework for thinking about eternity better - I have taken the author's advice and now regularly use my "sanctified imagination" to contemplate the wonders of eternity with God in Heaven, and this has enriched my life here on Earth greatly. Highly recommended! I've already passed this book on to several others to read in the hope they will also be just as blessed.
