Clever, engaging, meaningful

This book brilliantly captures the dangers of what C.S. Lewis called ‘chronological snobbery’, rendering it in illustrative form for a younger audience. My children loved Brax’s story. As a father, I appreciated the way it opened the door to a conversation about the moral lesson involved: we tinker with the achievements of the past at our own peril. I thoroughly recommend this book to all with primary aged children. Well done, Ben Davis - a diminutive book with a very big purpose!
