God's Wisdom for Little Girls: Virtues and Fun from Proverbs 31

I was so pleased to finally find a book of the 'old-fashioned' kind, where the illustrations are actually artistic and realistic, not modern and simplistic. If you are looking for a wholesome and delightful book for little girls, this one is it. It contains wisdom and good lessons in rhyming verse form, just like an old-fashioned story book. The illustrations are actually watercolour paintings by an actual artist, which makes the book all the more appealing. I believe we need to move away from silly and simplistic computer graphics, and find books that are illustrated in the correct way - either paintings or drawings by actual artists. I purchased this book for my great-niece, for her 6th birthday for the purpose of teaching her God's Word and to encourage a love of real art. More of these books, please Reformers!
