Books by John Calvin

John Calvin (1509-1564) was one of the most influential men of the Reformation. His particular contribution was the systematisation of Reformed Protestant theology in his Institutes of the Christian Religion, and his influential preaching and leadership of the church in Geneva.

You can read more about Calvin's life in Stephen Lawson's biography, and more about his theology and influence in Michael Horton's book Calvin on the Christian Life. We also recommend his Little Book on the Christian Life and this edited collection of his letters.
