Books by Faith Cook

Faith Cook was born to missionary parents serving in China, before their eviction from the country in 1951. Since then, she has lived in England, and has written many biographies of Christians, particularly those who persevered through persecution.

You can read about Cook's childhood in China in her autobiography Troubled Journey. Our top picks of her books include A Pilgrim Path, on John Bunyan's life, Nine Day Queen of England, on Jady Jane Grey, and Singing in the Fire, a series of sketches of Christians in persecution.
