Children will love learning the story and truths of the first Easter with this faithful, vibrant storybook. Using the stories and illustrations from the popular God's Big Promises Bible Storybook, The Story of Easter takes youngsters from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, showing both what happened and why Jesus died and rose.
Makes a perfect gift for children aged 2-6 and for churches to give out at Easter events for kids.
Written by Carl Laferton, author of The Garden, The Curtain and The Cross and God's Big Promises Bible Storybook.
40 pages.
A great little book I used to hand out at our playgroup for Easter. Would recommend the board book version for younger ages. Some of the imagery is visually dark (darker colours etc.) to communicate the seriousness of what jesus was about to do. I gave these anyway to my non-Christian families as I hope that the parents reading this story would also appreciate the sacrifice of Jesus. Loved the newly updated illustration style of this books depiction of Easter week!
