I was familiar with Matthew Henry's commentary on the Bible, in an edited form, so this is a little different. The old language can be a bit difficult, but reading at a fast pace, and not getting bogged down works for me. The title of the book sums it up well, but it's not a "health and wealth" treatise. At the start of the last chapter, Henry writes: "Much might be said to frighten you out of the ways of sin and folly, but I would hope to gain the same point another way, by alluring you in the ways of wisdom and holiness".
