Book Review: What Happens When We Die (Chris Morphew)

One big question that kids all ask—in fact, my kids have even asked this question—is: What happens when we die?

Chris Morphew, a chaplain at a school here in Sydney, has written this book for children aged nine years and up. Adults could read it as well, but it's really addressed to kids about what happens when we die.

What I love about this book is that it's not a negative approach. The emphasis is a positive thing. He wants to show you the glory of heaven. He wants to show you that heaven's better than you ever imagined.

He does talk about hell as well and the reality of hell, but his message is one of good news—that there is a resurrection hope. There is a great hope for the Christian, and that is something that every child needs to know.
