WHEN ARE YOU OPEN? WHERE DO YOU SHIP GOODS?


The shop is open to the public Monday to Friday; between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.30 pm. (Phones open 9 am to 5 pm). Alternatively, you can buy online through our secure web site – open 24 hours per day. We also accept orders by email, fax, mail or telephone.


We ship goods to all parts of Australia as well as overseas. We accept payment by cheque, money order, Visa Card and MasterCard. (The Website accepts Visa Card and Master Card).


All our prices are displayed in Australian Dollars and include GST. (If you are an overseas customer, the website will calculate your order as GST exempt and you will not be charged GST.)


 
HOW DO I PLACE ORDERS?


You can order using our secure website. (Go to the top right-hand corner of the web page and click on Log In (if you have previously registered) or Shopping Basket (for new customers) once you’ve finished browsing and are ready to purchase. Alternatively, you can order by mail using our Mail Order Form, or by fax using our Fax Order Form. You can also ring us on (02) 9564 3555 during business hours (9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday) and our staff will be happy to assist you. HOW SECURE ARE MY TRANSACTIONS?


The web site has security measures in place to protect you from loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All personal and electronic information transferred is encrypted to ensure that it cannot be read by a third party. Reformers Bookshop uses 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your financial information.


 
HOW QUICKLY WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?


If the goods are in stock, they will be dispatched within 2 working days from receipt of your order (unless otherwise advised). Books on backorder may need to be imported from overseas; in which case the lead time may easily be up to five weeks, and of course depending on the publisher's stocks.


 
DO YOU ACCEPT REFUNDS? DO YOU OFFER A MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE?


When buying over the Internet, you might not be entirely sure what the product is going to be like. That's why we offer a 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE on products we sell via the Internet. If, for any reason, you're not happy with an item you've purchased via our website, contact us to arrange a Return Authorisation, and then return the item in new condition within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price of that product (excluding shipping).


 
CAN I ORDER ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK?


Yes, the website accepts backorders. Typical lead times for backorder items are 4 to 5 weeks (if sourced from overseas). If there is a problem, we will endeavour to advise you.


 
WHAT POSTAGE AND HANDLING DO YOU CHARGE?


For simplicity, Australia-wide, we currently charge $7.50 on orders that are under $30 and $9.50 for orders over $30. When the costs of postage, insurance, labour and packaging materials are taken into account, on average we subsidise the Australia Post charge.


New Zealand: we charge 20% postage
Singapore: we charge 30% postage
Rest of World: we charge 40% postage
Minimum overseas postage charge is $10.


 
WHAT GST IS PAYABLE?


For orders shipped within Australia, 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is payable. There is no GST payable on orders exported outside Australia.

 

HOW DO I FIND THE BOOKSHOP IF I WANT TO COME AND BROWSE?


The bookshop is located at 140 Albany Road Stanmore, Sydney, on the grounds of Stanmore Baptist Church. (Park out front and follow the signs). There is a map on the About Us Page – scroll down to the bottom of that page. If you want to come by train, Stanmore Railway Station is nearby – see map.


 
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS/DONATIONS?


We provide books on a sale-or-return basis for many church bookstalls, camps and conferences. As part of that arrangement, we offer a 10% (or larger) donation to the Christian mission of your choice. These arrangements are very popular with our customers. See About Us for more information.


 
I DON’T KNOW WHAT BOOKS TO PICK FOR OUR CHURCH CAMP:


If you tell us the Topic or Theme for the camp (and the age range of those attending), we’ll happily put together a bookstall for you. You can either pick the books up or have us post them to you at our expense. We will be pleased to help you in whatever way we can. See About Us for more information.


 
HOW DO I JOIN (OR LEAVE) THE MAILING LIST?


We distribute our brochures by both email and Australia Post mail-out.

Emailed brochures: Click on MAILING LIST on the left hand side menu to open up the drop-down menu. You will then be given the options to Join or Leave the Mailing List – choose whichever is appropriate.

Mailed out brochures: We also distribute our brochures by mail (Australia Post). You may opt out of the posted mailing list either by ringing us on (02) 9564 3555 or by clicking Contact Us on the Side Menu and completing the form, providing your name and current postal address and stating that you wish to be removed from the Australia Post mailing list. If you wish to opt back in to the mailed-out brochure, then once again either ring us or click Contact Us on the Side Menu and complete the form, providing your name and current postal address and stating that you wish to be added to the Australia Post mailing list.


 
DO YOU HAVE A PRIVACY POLICY?


Yes. Click Privacy Policy on the left hand side menu for details. In summary, the Reformers Website uses forms for customers to request information, products and services. The forms request your contact information (e.g. name, address and email address) so we can ship the order to your delivery address and so we can contact you if necessary. The forms also request financial (i.e. payment) information so that we can process your purchases. In addition, from this contact information we build up a mailing list (either post or email) which we use to send you brochures. You can opt out of this at any time.

TIPS FOR USING THE SEARCH FACILITY:


• Do not use asterisks (*) or inverted commas or + signs.
• You can search by ISBN or part-ISBN.
• You can also search by using words or part-words.
• The facility searches the author’s names, the book title, description, publisher, catalogue number and ISBN.
• The more words or part-words you use, the more you will restrict your search.
• Be sure to check your spelling. If you have any doubts, it is better to leave the word out altogether.
